Season 3 saw a show of nuanced negotiations, intriguing cooperation through cultural differences, smart characters, and an interesting discourse of human nature, transform into a thriller against first militarism then religious fanaticism. All the fascinating developments from season 2 are void due to mad-man pike or the terrible jaha story line. I truly hope season 4 returns to what made this show special, rather than the melodramatic mess that is season 3.
